WARRNAMBOOL Vic

Monday 27th April 2015.  9.00 pm.

From Wagga Wagga we headed south, down the road a bit we decided that we should go straight down through Henty to Culcain.Well, Karen, (our navigator) was extremely determined that we should "do a U turn!, we were also determined to continue on.  A number of K's later we learned why she wanted to turn us back.  There was unsealed road ahead.  We caaried on as it was too far to go back, and had lunch at Culcain. (Lesson learned! Do not argue with she who must be obeyed.)
Later we arrived at Corowa and the sister chocolate factory of the one at Junee.
Crossed into Victoria here and proced to a camp site on the Ovens River.
Morning tea next day was at Shepparton, with lunch at Bendigo.  That night we camped on Mt.Franklin, just out of Daylesford.  Next morning we went to Hepburn Springs for 1 & 1/2 hour soak in the hot pool. Then to Daylesford to do some washing.  After that we traveled to Creswick where Bev went on a tour of the woolen mill where they produce a lot of Alpaca products. Later we camped at Slaty Creek camp in the forest.  Very quiet there.  Friday morning saw us arrive at Ballarat for morning tea and a look at the Botanical gardens to fill in time before going to Sebastapol to stay a couple of nights with my sister and brother-in-law.
We met up with there 2 daughters, Sandy & Carolyn, there and we all went for dinner at the bowling club.
Yesterday morning we drove about 2 & 1/2 hours to Warrnambool where Pearl & Kevin's other daughter, Dianne & husband & children Jack & Lauren.
It was great to catch up with everyone down this way and tomorrow we head off again westward.
Sorry for the lengthy post.  I will try and keep it up to date more regularly.
